FGCS management and all staff are working diligently and proactively to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 disrupting services and access for our participants, their families, and other stakeholders.

We have a duty of care to keep you safe while accessing all FGCS services therefore, we have adapted and enacted policies, procedures, and processes to enable us to prevent and control the incidence of Covid-19 infections.

Help us keep you safe by following these guidelines

FGCS families/visitors/external stakeholders coming to Supported Independent Living homes

Gowns Not required Disposable gowns
Testing As per SA health guideline (this information is updated regularly, see up to date SA Health resources links below Surveillance RATs if at risk, PCR if symptomatic
Social distancing As practicable 1.5 meters physical distancing
When feeling unwell Avoid visiting SILs Stay away from SILs
Communication As required/updates from government Increased -weekly/as required

FGCS staff health, safety and welling and are important to us, and critical to providing you with the right services at the right time. The following guidelines are for staff.

Staff testing for duty As per guideline provided (this information is updated regularly, see up to date SA Health resources links below) Surveillance RATs if at risk, PCR if symptomatic
